Seeing. Creating. Being.

I’ve had the very good fortune of being a professional photographer the whole of my adult life. From my NYC based studio I shot food, still life and beauty for a wide range of companies across all industries—editorial, advertising, corporate and fine art. You can see some of that work at elizabethwattstudio.com.

I also hugely enjoyed teaching photography and creativity, most notably as an adjunct professor at The Newhouse School at Syracuse University, as well as running creativity seminars at various workshop and corporate settings around the country.

I was for many years a Manhattanite, then briefly a Hudson Valley dweller. In 2014 I up and relocated to San Miguel De Allende, Mexico, where I was simply drawn to the abundant beauty of the city, and most recently have settled into the paradisiacal Caribbean island of Bequia, where I am continuing the SCB exploration, as well as partnering in www.grenadineseasalt.com with my husband, where we produce artisanal gourmet sea salt.

One of the greatest things my career as a photographer gave me was the gift of paying attention.  I launched Seeing Creating Being as a platform to explore the intersect between those three things, and the impact they have on our lives.
